Boiler Breakdowns
Boilers that are over eight years old often waste a lot of valuable energy – energy that you have paid for! It is important that you look after your boiler, and often changing your boiler to a modern Condensing Boiler will improve the efficiency to over 90%, so you could save a minimum of 30% on your heating bills. Modern boilers work easily with your existing central heating system.
If your boiler or central heating is under-performing or even failing to work properly, we can fix, service or even replace your boiler. We will always provide you with a full quote for any work including parts and labour before proceeding, plus we offer a 12 month guarantee on workmanship and fitted electronic components, and should the work take longer than estimated, the price you pay will be that quoted (unless first agreed). We offer competitive rates from as little as £65 plus VAT.
Gas Safety Inspections & Certificates (GSC)
The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 require that all gas appliances and associated pipework that are fitted in rented accommodation are subject to inspection and certification annually.
Once the Gas Safety inspection is completed a copy of the certificate must be provided to the tenants. It is recommended that a new inspection is carried out at the start of each new tenancy, regardless of the date of the previous inspection.
Please note that it is a criminal offence if the landlord or their appointed agent does not comply with these regulations.
Heating Systems
As a specialist within the heating industry and a Gas Safe registered company, we can carry out all works on domestic heating systems. From annual servicing, repairs, advice, upgrades to replacement boilers let us be your first choice.
If your Immersion heater or hot water cylinder is not working correctly then we can carry out all required works. Whether it be a wiring fault or a replacement element required, we can quickly diagnose and carry out any required work.
Servicing
We recommend that all domestic gas fired appliances such as Boilers, Fires, Water Heaters, and Warm Air Units are serviced by a Gas Safe registered engineer at least every 12 months.
We will provide a full service which will include a full check of the gas appliance including combustion chamber and burners. The appliance, flues and any air vents will be checked thoroughly for integrity and deterioration.
Servicing your appliance will help to maintain its performance and efficiency whilst helping to ensure that it is operating safely.
